M3 (U20): Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors Now I have created the three different advertisements that were required from Carter Soft Drinks I am now going to analyse my three final products compared to other adverts that have already been released within the industry and will compare how my group and I's adverts have met and complied with the codes and conventions of other adverts that have already been released.  For my video advert we thought that it would be very important to follow the codes and conventions of the video adverts and if we were able to follow them. Overall I feel we followed the codes and conventions very well and ensured we had what was needed, the codes and conventions I had researched had been mentioned in the previous tasks with the Fanta advert and my group and I felt that it would be appropriate to carry over the codes and conventions from the in to our video adverts. The first one ...

Create the adverts- Learning Outcome 3 (U20):Be able to produce the planned media components

This is the billboard ad my group and I created for our drink. We gave it a colour scheme that can relate to the drink as the red represents the strawberry laces, as well as this we included the social media pages so people can follow online and it helps spread awareness of the new drink on the market. This is our magazine advert. We kept the colour scheme the same as the billboard ad so it can carry on throughout the campaign, it also emphasises the design of the can. This is our video ad that will be produced and placed on television as well as used on YouTube ads and posted on YouTube itself as well as being posted on all PhizzWizzard social media pages to help spread awareness This is the feedback we received on our video adverts. Common feedback was: Younger generation enjoyed the idea of a strawberry laces drink Video was not long enough and could have been made longer to create more meaning to it Older audience wasn't sure on the content of ...

M2 (U20): Justify the choice of planned components by targeted media sector

M2 (U20): Justify the choice of planned components by targeted media sector. My group and I have chosen to do three different kind of adverts, the three types we have decided to for and create is a television advert, a billboard advert and a magazine advert. We feel that these three forms of advertisement will be the most effective way to reach out to our target audiences. The reason for having three different kinds of advertisement is because it was what our client Carter Soft Drinks had put in their client brief for us to do.  The first advertisement my group and I had chose to do was a billboard advert. The reason for this is because Carter Soft Drinks provided us with two target audiences, they wanted teens as well as adults in their thirties/forties who would enjoy the retro styled drink. My group and I decided that a billboard would be a good idea and would be effective for the demographic of the adults as most of them will be able to drive and will drive past many b...

Our campaign has to include a billboard advert, magazine advert and a video advert as well as other ideas for different elements of the campaign. LO2 (U24): Understand the behaviours, skills and attributes necessary within the advertising industry. Script for a piece to camera that: Explains how personal behaviours and attributes affect career development opportunities (M2) Personal behaviour and attributes can affect career development opportunities within the directing industry in many different ways. Personal behaviour and attributes are very important in the advertising industry as it is an industry where you will have to work with many different people and be able to communicate well so it is important that yourself and colleagues will be able to maintain a good relationship otherwise it will be hard to work with each other and can potentially give you a bad reputation as an individual which may limit your opportunities in your career within the directing industry. When you first start off in the directing industry it is quite often that you would find yourself low down in the chain of jobs and will have to work your...

M1 (U24) - Discuss how the industry has utilised developments in technologies

M1 (U24) - Discuss how the industry has utilised developments in technologies In the last couple of years the advertising industry has been growing rapidly in terms of the technologies being used and how they have been applied within the industry.  The first way the advertising industry has developed is via using social media and other apps where converging technology comes in to use, for example many advertisements are now done through youtube, the reason for this is that is very cheap and very effective at the same time. There are many 'YouTubers' with millionns of followers and subscribers and if you are able to get an advert before their video begins you will have millions of people viewing the ad for at least five seconds so it is important within that five seconds what is being advertised is being shown and it is straight to the point so there is a better chance of the advert being taken notice of. Another app that is now used for advertisement quite frequently is ...
